renfrey
I know that different people have different opinions on the tire pressure with their winters. So I thought that I'd ask and see what kind of pressure everyone is running on their winters. Do you just run with your cars generic suggested pressure or do you run with different pressures? What about conditions...do you take it a step further and even adjust acording to the conditions?
forestir
+1, run tire pressures as printed on your door sticker. Set them cold though, so if you park in a heated garage, you need to compensate for the temp diff when you are outside. On icy surfaces, a little bit lower might help. On snow or slush, a little bit higher helps narrow the contact patch to avoid floating on top of the slippery stuff.
