jesse_j
I have a '02 Legacy Sedan. I bought it a few months ago and I'm really pleased. Ever since I purchased it, there has been a lot of wind noise coming in the drivers side window, in the lower right hand corner. It is more than just weather stripping, but it seems to be the entire rubber piece has a gap. I have folded a piece of paper to take up the space and that helps a little. However, I would like to fix. I was just wondering what is that rubber section called and if its easy to replace. Thanks.
SLegacy99
I wouldnt think it would be too bad, but what if you just stuck some chewing gum in there?
DriverX
Lower the window and squeeze the two rubber strips together on the "triangle" next to the mirror, that should take care of it. In the future, try not to close the door using the window glass....
Rvd3b0y
Ask any independant Subie mechanic (Steve at Pacific Import Auto in Parkland, Wa. is a god!) and they will tell you that this is a notorious problem due the the frameless doors on these cars. You can have a mechanic tighten up the windows and hinges and this will solve 90% of the problem. (Had the same issue with My and my Wife's 2001 GTs)
