XenonK, I now know why you have gone SO large and encourage others to do so as well. Yesterday while following and new GT, the car seriously looked like it was on wagon wheels. There is NO stance at all on the stocker. I think the Spec-B's look a lot better but I think you could seriously take the next step and go for 19's. For day to day driving 17"'s would do the job and lets face it, its 1" up on the previous model but for stance and cornering at speed, I think you would be much better placed with 18"'s or 19"'s. As soon as I saw that car yesterday, I thought about yr comments. Thanks for the inspiration XenonK. Adam.
let's face it, a LOT OF PEOPLE forget that you can go WIDER when you go with a taller rim WHILE KEEPING THE SAME OVERALL TIRE DIAMETER.. it's a lot of people's mis-guided thought... this also applies for people who want to go with wider 17" rims.. just have to do some math. Yeah, it's a lot of rotational mass, but if you can use an extra inch of contact patch, why not right? Afterall, you depending on 4, 4!! little areas of contact patches that are probably no more than 16 square inches per tire to keep you on the ROAD?! And what happens when you corner?!! Now you are only depending probably half of that contact patch if you get the car to lift the two wheels off the ground!! I say, go wider :D Keefe

Not sure if the question was directed to me, but you need to give us a more than a few pics to determine if a wheel will fit or not. I'm pretty sure they are available in our 5x100 bolt pattern, however, I think the narrowest they come is 8", so getting the offset right will determine if they will fit or not. Find out what offsets they come in. Sweet looking wheels, hopefully they do make the correct offset for our application.

Agree with that. Not a hardcore performance tire, but decently grippy and very smooth riding. Given that I'm on 19's with 35 series tires, the smooth riding part is a good thing. I don't think that they live up to their billing as quiet tires though. They are certainly not loud, but noticably more so than the stock RE92's. I did also experience some quality control issues with the ST115's. Long story short, the tire store I got them from ended up getting in 8 tires to find 4 good ones. We kept on mounting them up, putting them on the Hunter GSP9700 RoadForce balancer and they kept on coming up out of spec. I ended up with 4 "good" tires, but it was a pain in the a$$.

So Boostjunkie, how are you liking those rims now? How is the finish and durability so far? Prices on arospeed rims are amazingly low, especially since they are low weight - probably not much more than the volks weigh in your case.
getting out of the legacy game
How do you like the performance of the Falken 115's? I have considered these in the past but didn't get them. Nick
i use 115 on my 20" rims for my SC430 -- they're good for daily use...quiet and smooth.

Finish seems to be holding up just fine and I've hit some bigger bumps/dips and they seem to be pretty strong... no bends yet (crosses fingers!). For the price, they are a damn fine value.

I was in love with the hiro's too. Everywhere I went the answer was no.

I'm totally set on these REV Model II's now though...just photochopped a set onto my car and I can't WAIT for spring!! (you can see the fakeness in the puddles reflection hehe:icon_wink)
