Bob N
My 1997 car is dead. I don't drive it that much and I went to use it the other day and when I got in I heard a constant clicking sound and put the key in and nothing completely dead. I'm going to recharge the battery but does anyone know why a clicking sound is constant as soon as I open the door?

J.R.
If it was a clicking whne you tried to start the car = very low battery Clicking when you opened the door =
Bob N
Sorry, it was clicking as you open the door. I recharged the battery and reset the alarm and now it's just fine.
NinjaGaiden22
try cleaning the battery terminals. it has been raining over here a lot lately, so it has been moist and i had the same problem. I tried to start it, but i just got a bunch of clicking. I charged the battery and still had the same problem. Finally, my dad told me to clean the battery terminals. use a wire brush and make them nice and shiny both on the battery and on the cables. Mario500
I heard a buzzing sound in my door once. Found out hornets had built a nest in the hinge area. I'm glad I didn't find out while driving.
