Subey Roof Rack Installed on GT Wagon w/Pics

Broke down and popped for the roof bars for the GT. I wanted to skip the roof rack altogether and get a receiver for the car, but at this point the $400+ they quoted me was a bit too much. The bars were $130.

If you happen to do this be sure to NOT slide the feet off the rails. It took me awhile to figger out how they were supposed to go back on correctly. Kind of a pain, but easy once you know what's up.

Here's some pics:

Yeah, brand new neighborhood. Pretty suburubia looking. I'm not sure about the receiver for the sedan, but apparently the part number is actually the Outback's, from what I've read here on the boards. They don't show one for the Leg because it's "too low." I'm gonna wait until some of the aftermarket companies start making a receiver for the Leg... Screw Subaru and their $400+. I think someone else posted they got it for around $150 somewhere already?? I only got the bars because I forsee some kind of ski box on the roof. I really don't like carrying bikes up there.
