Legacy05GT
Just a quick question, can i use K&N Air Filter Oil on a Perrin Air Filter. Not sure of the material on a K&N filter, but is the air filter oil universal?
team23jordan
you obviously didn't read perrin air filter manual.. Legacy05GT
Ok, looks like the K&N is made of a cotton like product where as the Perrin is foam. I still ask, is oil oil?
Boostjunkie
Nope. The K&N oil is quite a bit thinner than the oil made for foam air filters. The thinner K&N oil will blow though the filter in no time. Use the right oil. The Perrin filter is made by Uni, so just google for a Uni filter cleaning/reoiling kit. Sure it'll be a bit cheaper than buying it from Perrin.
