wbcustoms
can someone tell me how to get to the housing or remove it from a 05 legacy wagon? I am a firefighter and I got a hide away strobe kit for the rear. I want to use the backup light housing because there is plenty of room in it, but i need to drill a 1" hole into the back of the housing. Any help would be appreciated-

I am also EMT/Firefighter with an 06 LGT wagon, looking to do the same. I even thought about hiding strobes in the brake light area. Also what are you doing for the front headlights? wbcustoms
I couldn't figure it out... so I used my angle grinder and cut part of the shell near the backup lights, enough to get access to the housing. Then I used a 1" hole saw and drilled right through the housing and reflector. There was just enough room between the bulb hole and some little clip thing for me to drill the hole. Then I put the strobe bulb in ran the wires up through the frame, then down to the left side of the trunk where I put the strobe pak. Everything looks stock until I light it up. I got an old galls 60w strobe pack and 2 hide-a-way blue bulbs. It took me like an hour and a half to do everything.
