Seeing more and more of the 05+ Legacy...

Recommended Posts

...or is it just me? When I bought my car 7 months ago I felt like I was the only one on the road...now there are 3 on my block!?!? No joke! I actually really enjoy seeing more on the road, good to know Subaru is making some sales and if they know what's good for them will start listening to more enthusiasts as to what options we'd like to see become stardard (or at least available).

its strange, but i seem to see them all at once where i live. what i mean is that i dont see any for prolonged periods of time and then all of a sudden i see like 3 in one day. and then back to none for a while.

LOTS of Outbacks from all years around here though.

When i was trying to point out to my dad the car I planned on getting, we drove all the way from the Seattle area to Portland without seeing a single one...

Now I see one at least a couple times a week, mostly wagons. Quite a few 2.5i around too.

Around the virginia tech campus i have seen 7-10. That is more than i saw in a year in my hometown alexandria va. The funny this is most of them are 2.5i's and girl drivers. I have only seen two lgt's and i have yet to come across the same model as mine (2.5 gt nonlimited wingless). I love being unique :)

Its interesting because most people in Central PA dont have a lot of money. So BMW, Mercedes, etc. are pretty far away. However, Altoona has two big dealers. Subaru and Cadillac. Since most people cant afford Caddys, they can afford Legacies and Forresters with leather, etc. Good for them.

I always notice more of a particular car after a family member or someone I know buys one but I was looking at the LGT for a good while and I wasn't seeing many on the roads until it seems just recently.

They are a great car here in MN that's for sure. The night I got my car is was snowing and I was very impressed with it's capabilities. Look forward to seeing many more Subies on the road in the years to come.

When I go snowboarding in VT, all I see are Subaru's everywhere. I have been noticing alof of 05+ legacys lately near me in PA though too. I think it is just because I am looking for them now that I have one. Not a whole lot of wagons though.

Add one 07 Legacy SE sedan to the Minneapolis area. Put my deposit down at Morries today, I pick it up on monday. If you see a new silver, give me the Subbie nod.

I see about 1 LGT a month, and the same number of Continental GTs. Ive seen 2 Spec Bs though, #140, and one with an unknown number (It was driving by). However there is a LGT in my neighborhood. Since there is no snow around here (SoCal) AWD is not very essential.

Well .. I think it's pretty essential around here (Boston), and there is nary an LGT to be found. We do have more than our fair share of Outbacks and Forresters, though. I'll concede that I've been seeing more Legacies than I used to. But very very very few of any of the subies I see are turbocharged. Even a lot of the Imprezas are naturally aspirated.
