ATTN: Manchester, AMD and Exeter Subaru

Hey assholes!

 

if you want to sell me an 07 spec B call me the **** back!!'

 

I know you read these forums.

STORY:

 

I called these 3 dealers, gave name and number. All dealers returned call stating that they could not get one.

 

one week later:

got a call back from Exeter, said they could get one, but needed $1000 NON refundable deposit.

told them to **** off, asked him if he has ever bought a car without driving it, made my point.

 

 

Still no call back from manchester or AMD....

Dealers do not locate cars for you simply to test drive them. They can however order them for you.

 

Be patient and a dealer will have one for you to test drive.

 

I work at a dealership I sell cars, know this.

 

no.... thats not the issue. The dealers HAVE them available. I know that as a fact.

they dont want to order them unless they know they are sold. Thats bullshit:icon_mad:

 

None of these dealerships want to take a chance, like they did with the 06 spec B.

 

AMD is begging me to buy their left over 06...

 

Randy I think your over reacting a little here.

 

Im mad because they havent called me back, not because they dont have one in.

 

They want me to give them $1000 with out knowing how much the car is going to cost?!?!?!?!?!?!?

 

**** that!!! get me a price, and call me.

Manchester has been very responsive for me. They have also given very good service to a coworker who has an 05 WRX.

 

It's September 6th - pretty early in the model year.

 

If it was October 16th, OTOH, I'd beef.

I will let you guys in on a little secret, there is no such thing as a non-refundable deposit. Randy we have three on the way, if you are serious about the 2007 Spec B, I will talk with the owner tomorrow, to see if he can get them shipped quicker, or possibly locate one.

I bought my car from you guys and I have nothing but praise to give service.

 

My gripe with Manchvegas suby is that I never got my refferal Bonus. I called 5 times about it.

 

its the little things that keep a customer coming back.

Hey is Ray Walsh still at Manchester Subaru? He was my dealer.

 

Manchester gave me a good price and worked with me, however I wound up having my car die on me because they pinched a wire when installing my OEM option boost gauge and never warranteed the work because I had the car being work on at another dealer. $300+ out of my pocket b/c of there Technicians mistake. I could of died as the car died while I was driving.

Ray is still here, but he is now a sales manager, hopefully not the manager that wont respond to Bu11dogg2. I am sorry to hear about the poor quality of work you experienced with our service department. Please PM me if you want the name and number of our new service manager. I can not promise anything, but I am sure he will at least take the time to look into it and see what steps he can take to earn your business again.

The only time I ever deal with the salespeople at Manchvegas Subaru is to sign the paperwork so they can get a sale. I just call Todd Berkowitz and he gives me $500 over invoice on anything, which he told me would be the situation if I came in for a 2007 Spec B. He would go lower if I asked, but I think $500 over is fair; he gets good financing rates due to his volume with Chase and can usually get you the car/color/interior you want within 1 day by trading with other dealers.

 

I got my 2005 STi in late May 2004 with 2 miles on it for $500 over (while others were selling 2004s at MSRP+) and haven't turned back since. I don't know if he would bring a Spec B in for a test drive, but he would give you a price and might bring it in if you let him run your credit. I am impulsive and would buy the Spec B or STi limited without a test drive because I doubt I would be dissatisfied with either :icon_mrgr

 

On the referral bonus, I just tell my friends to let him know I referred them and to give them the car at invoice - then I get a few nice dinners at Blue Ginger, Sibling Rivalry, or Unwined (if I don't feel like leaving this great free state)!
