gfxdave99
Man... I know subaru has come ways since the 05 system with adding the mp3 jack and mp3 playback and all but this thing is well.. damn cool http://www.dodge.com/en/nitro/interior.html?feature=mygig full color screen, dvd playback, aux in jack and a USB jack to upload up to 1000 songs directly to your FACTORY head unit + navi.. GRRR If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough. - Mario Andretti
gfxdave99
Saw this too recently. Scary thing is it available on the new compact model, not just fancy ones! Mercedes does the same thing, it is prob. related. Its just sad that there is nothing this good in the aftermarket.. I have been trying to find something that supports an external hard drive with headunit control that isnt painfully slow and so far there is no such animal. NutBucket
There are Kenwood/Panasonic units with USB ports that allow you to plug in thumb drives/hard drives. Pretty sure the Eclipse DD Navi units can rip cds to its hd.
IanKen
It's got a 20GB drive but you can only put 1000 tracks on it? WTF? But still, this is very cool and that they offer it on a wide range of vehicles, not just the bling(cough spec.b, cough) is even cooler.
Boulderguy
Is that DIN-sized? The only real downside is having to own a Dodge...

NutBucket
Maybe it was Blaupunkt. I know there's at least one other company making them.
gfxdave99
Maybe it was Blaupunkt. I know there's at least one other company making them. JVC has one but its on the front of the unit, but it only supports flash drives, and alpine is coming out with one but they were supposed to release it in april but they have pushed it back to late october with no promise of that being delievered either.
