stellasubie
Ok, I know we talked about this here just recently, But I wanted opinions on what you all thought about the way they look on my car. I think they look pretty good, and match the color pretty well. True, they are the "factory" pinstripes, however in my color I think they look allright... WHat do YOU think? http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k318/mycatguinness/P8291400.jpg http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k318/mycatguinness/P8291408.jpg
direavenger
They look decent, but keep this in mind: when I removed mine, I found some nasty digs from the blade that they used to cut the pinstripes. A few coats of sealant later and nobody would have noticed that the marks were there(hell, they probably wouldn't have noticed to begin with). The Dude - Two inches and counting... Guest *Jedimaster*
I think they look pretty good-they're kind of muted or understated, so it looks kind of classy.
coxx
I think they look terrible. They make your car look like it's from 1986 or something. Oh wait, my mom's 2002 cavalier has pinstripes "Barack Obama, mothaf#%@a! Barack Obama! I'm the president...of hittin' the ass!" -this is not a political view it's merely a quote from a hilarious tv show.
MIKEBRAVO
Dump them. Clean is mean. If you can afford College, you probably don't need to go.

HAHA but why'd you ask if you wanna leave em on??? "Barack Obama, mothaf#%@a! Barack Obama! stellasubie
but why'd you ask if you wanna leave em on??? I am not sure what I am going to do. My girl wants me to leave them on, and I think they look just fine, but I don't want people to see my car and think, "WTF is up with that idiot and his pinstripes on his wagon?" But regardless of whether they stay or go, one thing is for sure... and that is one ugly ass legacy in that avatar, and I can't take advice on apearance from someone who thinks thats cool. KartRacerBoy
Ditch the pinstripes so people don't think you're driving your father's Oldsmobile.
subie_dude05
i am kinda partial to the pin stripes...i like them. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v192/elishafire/e45d5909.jpg
Gire
I almost removed my in-law's factory pinstripes from their 2005 Outback the other day, just because I loathe them so... But it ain't my car, and asking them if i could take them off would've garnered strange looks from them. (I don't think they've even noticed they're on the car...) pillboy
My girl wants me to leave them on, There's your answer right there. Do what the boss wants. She thinks that by leaving them on you'll have more time to go purse shopping. It is still ugly.

GTTuner
I put a VERY thin stripe down the side of the character line of the car. My car is Garnet red and the body shape gets lost when the sun hits it directly. I like them if they are subtle. Like I said, dresses the character line.
