Tim_in_MD
We've noticed on our '06 OBW that the driver's door is slightly misaligned--it's about 1/4" lower than the rear door on that side, as judged by the lower trim, the body cut line and the weatherstripping. It seems to fit against the weatherstripping well enough, but it's just lower than it should be. The panel gaps look OK. The door makes a two-stage sound (KLUNK-klunk) when it closes, which makes me think the latch is hitting twice because of this misalignment. The other doors all shut with one "klunk". Anybody else have this issue, or know if there's an adjustment that can be done?
captainmorgan
mine droops a little bit too. just enough to catch the edge of the body molding around the rear wheel well when its hot out. I'm thinking about going to a body shop to have all the doors realigned
red beast
my driver, rear, lower, sill edge is in too much causing the paint to be pitted on the door jamb.
rabydanimal
From what I've read this is inevitable on all Subarus, but on an '06? I'd have the dealer look at it.
