Philpug
I have the opportunity to swap my cloth interior from my 06 SE wagon with the leather interior from an 06 GT. I am debating if its worth it, I will be gaining... Slightly nicer feeling seat Nicer Looking seat Leather Heated Seats (big plus) Power Pass seat Need to figure if the hooking up the power passenger seat will be an issue, as the heated seats. My outlay will be a bit less than $1,000.00 . Any thoughts?
NonovUrbizniz
It's just wiring... I mean you'll prob. have to buy the stock switch and use that for sake of ease but other than that it's just a matter of running some wires to the pass. side floor. Do the seats bolt in? or are you making custom mounts??
douglas751
Airbags? Safety? You cannnot hook up an airbag seat in a car that it was not designed for. Not only will you have electronic issues, but also Crash Kinematic/Airbag Deployment issues based on the shape of the inside of your car. Does any of this matter to you? Philpug
Oooof. My bad. 06 to 06. But....I was just told, that the interior is NOT leather but 06 GT cloth. Frankly, I prefer cloth to leather but I DO like the GT seats better. Price will be less so I think I will. I will aslo get the heated seats that the GT has. I just have to add the switch. Tommyh
...06 GT cloth... That animal doesn't exist. '06 GT's are "Limited" only thus they only come with leather. Well...in the States at least, I don't know about our brothers from Canadialand. Martin Luther - "Who loves not women, wine and song remains a fool his whole life long." umcp
Tommyh is correct. All MY06 LGT's were Limited, all leather interiors.
Tommyh
Your car, like mine is an '05 "TR" edition car, right? Philpug said that the car the interior is an '06 which only comes with leather since SOA decided that all Legacy GTs needed leather for anyone to buy them... Philpug
Boy an I cluster effing this. You think I would know this shit. The seats are actually out of an 05 GT. I was given misinformation. So, it is 05 LGT seats into an 06 LSE wagon.
emorphien
SOA decided that all Legacy GTs needed leather for anyone to buy them... Pretty stupid decision on SOAs part. Leather had nothing to do with me buying mine (although since then I've grown quite fond of it)

I can't speak for you, but if I was going to swap things around I would do it right and swap every part that was different between the two cars, back seats, door panels(?), etc. otherwise I would think it would look rather half-assed, incomplete, and bastardized. zuczek
Canada had both the limited and the non-limited for 06. The non-limited had cloth seats and no sunroof but the cloth driver seat is still a 8 way adjustable power seat unlike the US who gets a manual driver seat. They had also brought out a 2.5i Special Edition which is about $650can more than regular car ($500US or so) and the Special Edition gets the blinkers in the mirrors and power moonroof. I got them free but they need some work to bring them to looking good.

It is another wagon. i will do the back seats also. I am also gettign the leather steering wheel (it is a stick, so it will be fine). The car I am getting the interior from was turned into a race car. I was curious of the speedo cluster, the GT one is sweet, I am just not sure if that is a plug and play. Philpug
OK, this didn't work out as planned. The seats were out of an 05 LGT SW. Cloth, no power drivers seat. The only plus is that I got a Momo steering wheel out of it.
