Silver_05_GTX
When I bought my 05 Legacy I noticed that the rotors appeared to be in need of being cut. I figured that this was due to the car being idle between the time of manufacture and the sale to me. For various reasons, in including the fact that I simply haven't had the time (yes I know 17 mos is a long time) to have a dealer check them out. The car has 21k miles. Is pitted rotors from the factory a known problem? What is the remedy...Can they be cut or are new rotors needed? Will the dealer laugh at me expecting a warranty brake service at 21.5k mles?
