pacbreak gt
Guys.....Guys.... As Tide mentioned, it's a Re-badged cosmetically enhanced SpecB. Now if they throw in a slightly larger turbo & HP is in the 300 range now that would be a different story. I am hoping we see the Toyota developed 7EAT with paddle shifter. If so I will def give it a look in 08. If they bail out & give us a watered down version & no wagon....... My $$ is going elsewhere:( Whoa, what a tease! While the wagon does look great, without increased horsepower, I'll keep what I got..which isn't bad. The wagon does look much sleeker without the cargo rails. Can ours be removed? dark_rex
Ahh...excuse me Mr. Buzzkill...we were having fun! I know, wtf was that all about? and no one compared it to an M3. someone said 3 series... very different. sounds like we're getting the evo first lol - reminds me of 2002 in my clubwrx days. dR
mycotopian
it just goes to show you that a 4 banger does not make a worthy S4 or M3 competitor If you ever going to be in SoCal drop me a PM. I'll take you for a spin and see if I can get you to retract that statement.
gt_silverspoiler_la
Really, when V6 minivans and V8 Chevy Avalanches are passing me with no problems... If that's the case, you should come to LA and go for a drive with our LGT crowd sometime. You might learn a thing or two.
AK Wagon
Won't trade my 05 with the changes I made but my wifey will be needing a new car in 08' and I could do an auto with that tranny and paddle shifters. The STI is pretty but I would go GT for her.
dbolen
Guys, "Hotness" is an understatement. The only problem I see with it is.......there goes the stealth mode! Cheers, dave Drive softly and carry big torque!
GloriousDay5996
i *heart* the Legacy STI. Let's hope that SOA brings it stateside. If that happens, I see a new ride in my future.

RockyMtnGT
Funny I haven't run into many minivans, saturns, or pickups that run to 60 in under 6 seconds and down the 1/4 mile in about 14 secs recently...You should probably get your car checked
johndas
Hmmm...I bomb back and forth the Whistler constantly and have no problems leaving all of the above in the dust on the big hills...of course there are a few more corners to contend with during those climbs...but my turbo works just fine if I'm running through the gears properly! mbacis
Yeah I can't help but think there's something wrong with your car, or you're trying to accelerate from <3000rpms. No way should a 4 banger Saturn be able to keep up with your XT.
Sponge
Subaru Legacy "tuned by STi" edition in Japan | Leftlane News - Car News For Enthusiasts Back on topic here: Hey Tide this says the car has 280 HP so this is an increase over the Spec B 243... gt_ltd
Paul told me that the JDM 2.0 twin-scroll turbo has more power up high compared to the USDM 2.5 turbo. to be continued... This Space For Rent
RockyMtnGT
I know...but yeah I frequently bomb up to Steamboat CO over 10,000ft passes with my friend in his V8 Audi S4...he can't come close to touching me up there. Turbos rule at high altitude. The higher you go the bigger the advantage over a NA car. In fact, at 5000 feet an NA car is down 18% from their sea level HP figure, at 10,000ft an NA car is down almost 40%. There is no place on planet Earth a 01 saturn, minvan etc will keep up with a healthy XT. BTW that STI is hot. hehe

Sponge
^I'll agree w/no boost gauge! They make that 3 pod A-pillar (way expensive) guage mount why the hell don't they use it! My vB Gallery
