jackacc
Will they rub on my stock height 2.5i wagon? Mounted on 18x8 Rota Formula Mesh. I might lower late on, but probably under an inch with JDM springs. Thanks! HansGT
the tire will probably be too tall. http://legacygt.com/forums/wheels-tires/4426-faq-offsets-sizes-rims.html
jackacc
Yeah I saw on the chart in that post that they are tall, and I used the tire sizer at miata.net. It looks like it is .3in larger all around but it still keeps a pretty decent sidewall. I just wanted to know if anyone was running the 235/40 18's and had any problems with rubbing. VXCL
there is some1 who is, but i think the deal breaker is the rim offset. don't know what he's running but no problems. think he has a white lgt. tires are also all different. Xenonk
I dont have a problem on running such a tire (235/40/18 Pirelli Corsas with 18x8.5 +50mm offset) on my sedan.. although, you may need to roll the fender since i dont know the offset on those Rotas. I know Dan at MachV barrowed my SSR GT7 (18x8 +51) with a Toyo T1-S at 255/35/18 to fit on his Wagon, which worked just fine.. but he was on stock suspension at the time. You can ask him to confirm with my details. Keefe
