jnd121 Posted July 27, 2006 Share Posted July 27, 2006 When you marry the AP to your car for the first time, do you have to upload a new base map and overwrite the stock map or can you use a real time map? Also, when using a real time map, I take it you have to have the AP connected to the car the entire time as opposed to the base map where you can disconnect the AP after flashing. You load a realtime map like normal (but don't hook up the green plugs) and then disconnect the AP. You will be running that realtime until you disconnect the battery or reset the ECU.
