whitetiger
turbo timers are a waste of money with our watercooled turbos. put your funds to better use.
tallguylehigh
Right, I asked this question earlier and received the same response- due to the architecture of the subaru engine, a turbo timer isnt necessary at all.
Effin Ponderous
Does that mean it's not necessary to let her run for a couple of minutes at the end of the trip if you don't have a turbo timer?
whitetiger
no, not really necessary. Coolant continues to circulate and cool the turbo after you shut the car off.

jdmhatchvii
yeh the coolant will run 2 cool off the turbo but the turbine is still hot as **** and the oil is what the turbine rides on so good idea 2 let it cool off and run 4 few minutes its not like its goin 2 hurt it. I personally think its a good idea.
