DKB_SATX
Are you carrying stuff on there most of the time? It's just reducing your fuel mileage if you've got the crossbars installed but aren't carrying anything on them.

It's physicaly impossible to whistle while eating saltines. Sorry, Couldn't resist. My old car had a luggage rack that use to whistle... I traced it to a loose bit of rubber molding on top of the rack... Don't know if the sube rack has the same thing or not... mine was a yakima rack
spieldawg
Had the same problem. It's been discussed before. Probably forgot the little pastic insert mentioned on the BACK of the instructions. http://legacygt.com/forums/exterior-aesthetic/18001-damn-cross-bar-kit.html?highlight=wind+roof+rack+whistle

John J
The solution is to remove them if you are not using them. They do whistle, even with the plastic inserts.
supergokougt
The cross bars are not loud alone. When I put my box or snowboard rack on then it gets loud. Read somewhere wrap the front bar with a bungee to break the wind.
