Gdawgs
My brother recently bought a 99' Legacy for his daughter. It runs great except when he fills up the gas tank, it doesn't want to start. He has to crank it over quite a bit, then it will start but it runs really rough, spits and sputters, then dies. It will do this a a few times, then it runs beautifully again(until he fills it up again, then it does the same thing). Next time he isn't going to fill it up all the way and see if that makes a difference. I have never heard of anything like this before. Is there a sensor or a vent hose that might be getting gas in it??? Not sure if it matters but the car has a manual transmission, 2.2 liter 4 cly, and has about 215,000 miles on it. Thanks. VTsullyman
Fuel filter? Does he fill up at the same station? I would put some gas treatment in there when you fill up next time and see what happens. 2007 DGM LGT 2003 Suzuki SV650S
SLegacy99
Why not even try some fuel injector cleaner while youre at it.
