Alex25
I am going to install Brembo (front and rear) on my JDM Legacy GT B4 2.0T spec.B. Should I also change my stock brake master cylinder to brake master cylinder from WRX STI (GDB)?
Opie
You can if you'd like (in the U.S. the STi has a slightly larger bore) but the Brembo's will work great with the stocker too.
zildjiank
Sorry for bringin this back from the dead, but I was wondering whether an STI brake master cylinder would fit on a LGT? And if it did, would it improve braking performance if I'm still stock brakes? Eventually I'm looking at getting a BBK, but for now I'm keeping her stock... Anyone have any experience with the master cylinders? Or know anyone who's done this mod?
KNS Brakes
The STi MC has a larger bore so it can move more fluid which the Brembo's require. If you install a larger bore MC your travel will be less but your effort will be higher. I wouldn't suggest screwing with that.
