Question about the 2007 folding rear seat

Sorry about the dumb question. So the seat folds down on the 07's so you can fit an exhaust system through it? Or is it one of those pass throughs where you could only fit your skis through your trunk? My 2.5RS has nothing that folds down, so it'd be nice if my next car had a folding rear seat for fitting Ikea furniture, downpipe, random long packages, or something.

Note under Design and Functional/Interior, that the sedan gets the "60/40 fold-down rear seatback with rear center armrest (new for sedan, with trunk pass-through)" - so it's actually both a fold-down and has pass-through capability.

Upgrading/retrofitting might be tough because the internal structure was likely changed to accomodate the drop seats. It would be great for all the sedan guys if it were possible to retrofit it.
