I think we all have agreed once before that Sales do not determine much. And I mean sure, if you need marketing techniques such as those to lure people in and make your cars sell then go for it. And look at what it did for sales. There are 50x more WRX's on the road then Legacys. Not that I want there to be tons of them out there. Silly things like this and "clever" advertising has given VW a 25% increase in sales this year compared to last. I'd rather have the new GTi than a Civic Si.
