BigT
Why the hell do our rotors rust so badly? They look like crap. Anybody have any experience getting these replaced through Subaru? -T

gfxdave99
(rolls eyes) they only rust when it rains and your car sits If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough. - Mario Andretti

BigT
Wow! You guys were really helpful and informative. Rust bothers me because its ugly, and the rest of my car isn't. I just think it looks crappy to have a sweet car with some rusty ass rotors. Also, I haven't noticed other cars with rotors that rust so easily. -T

Paul G.
Stainless steel is very slippery. The rust is a byproduct of the correct material for sticky, smooth-operating, cooler running brakes. P.

KTM 525
It only looks ugly when you are walking to the car. The first time you step on the brakes the rust is gone. More than likley when you hit the brakes at the end of your driveway.

SubLo
Remove the rotors and store them indoors.
