Looking into ADRs, opinions, anyone have them?

ADRs are cheap Ebay rims but I just want a different look for the summer. Does anyone on here have ADR rims? I think I remember someone having Phantoms.

They are probably the same weight as the stock rims, and might bend with a huge pothole... but whatever, I can deal with that when the time comes up.

Does anyone know of cheap rims other than ADR I could search for? It seemed ADR was not only cheap, but had a decent selection. They just mass and mass and mass produce these things and they are inexpensive (and probably very cheap too).

What are your thoughts on these styles?

#1 - Velocity - seem to have a nice lip.... dont know how that many spokes would look though.

#3 - Victory - say "no" to fake bullets, but I like everything else about them.

Is the seller on ebay screenname TCwheelz? thats who I am considering purchasing some ADR's Sokudo from, for about $349ish shipped for all four. Tires I can get for $200 for all four locally.

I think some I came across were from that seller.

Here is another really good deal

No need to shout :icon_tong

Offset is 48, 18 x 7.5, weight 23 lbs.

Purchased from Extremewheels on Ebay, paid $434 including shipping.

I was going to ask what they weighed, until I saw this post.

Too damn heavy, IMHO. Cheaper wheels are almost always too heavy for my tastes.

FWIW, when i went to 17x7.5" Rota SDRs and Michelin Pilt Exalto PE2 tires (215/45/17), i saved 3#s per corner over the stock wheel/RE92 setup. I won't do aftermarket wheels/tires unless I save weight.

those are nice but I think I want something a little less 'open'. I guess this means more spokes and more weight!

What do you guys think of these. They are made by Drag and are 15lbs for 17" rims. (minus the sticker on the spoke of course)

My favorite are the angled spoke rims.... the Konig Imagines are sweet. It is hard to find these though.

Thanks for the help guys.... I am on a quest for cheap rims. There is an auction that I might jump on tonight just because they are cheap. Might not stick with them... or maybe I will. Who knows.

Nice!! I like open 5-spoke wheels. What is the width? Do they have 7.5" or 8"?

You should check www.wheelweights.net I think you'll find that even Prodrive P1's are 23.4 lbs in 18" x 7.5"

I wouldn't call those cheap !

I am afraid the ADR will be too heavy... but I cannot find weights anywhere. I like the drag rims I posted above because they are light... but I am not sure about the style yet.....

The auction ends in 2 hours for the ADR rims. Its a good deal so far... only ~$300 shipped. I cannot see them going for more than $400 shipped... just 2 hours left. I hate to jump on it because it is a good deal, I just wish I knew the weight.

I also just found the Rev Model 2, which looks HOT. The cheapest I have found is a little over $500 shipped.
