Are tere any Mid ship front wheel driven cars?

Yes, every Cord ever made was. The company was, unfortunately, killed off by the depression; along with the Auburn and Duesenburg companies.

The word you're looking for to describe the car is "Glamorous"

I can explain that the Cord cars were built with essentially a standard style front-engine-driving-rear-wheels layout, just turned 180 degrees with no real drive shaft to speak of. The passenger compartment was behind the engine and hung out over the rear wheels. The overall front to rear layout was: wheels (with differential and radiator inbetween), transmission, engine, passenger compartment, rear wheels, trunk. Thinking about it, these cars were more MF than the MR2 was MR.
