SubieRU
Got the bushings installed yesterday at a local performance shop. Driving impressions: the improvements are subtle, but definitely noticeable. The steering feel is not tighter/heavier, bur sort of more precise. I feel like now I have to steer less to correct the direction in which the car is going. I haven't done any sharp turns, but the straight-lie stability is definitely better. This is due to caster adjustibility added by the PSRS. My caster setting is now +7.3, which is 1.8 higher than the factory spec. Overall, the front end feels more solid and better "glued" to the road. Road noise: there is some increase of feedback from the road even when going over small bumps. It feels like the suspension (Bilstein in my case)got stiffer. I haven't driven with passengers yet since the installation, but my guess is they are not gonna like it much. Worth the money? Considering that this was a very expensive mod ($190 + $260 for the install), I'm not sure yet. Let's see if I like it after a few weeks of driving. RaceComp Engineering
You will definitely notice more of a difference powering out of turns during aggressive cornering with all of that added caster. The car will feel more balanced on corner exits. -Dan
SubieRU
Long-term review (after 3 days of driving with the PSRS on): I start to like the steering more and more. It feels very precise and the highway straight-line stability is awesome. The front end slop is gone. I guess, the PSRS did for me the trick that I expected from STI steering rack bushings. SubieRU
That's right, I didn't. I guess I followed the Perrin intructions too closely and they said that the car must be aligned immediately after the installation or towed to the alignment shop. So, SpeedWare did the install. SubieRU
Ok, it's time for yet another update. Today I noticed that the cross-wind stability has improved as well. Perrin PSRS FTW!

I think it was, although i was sceptical about it myselfr beforehand. The steering is much tighter -- very controlled. The front end feels solid. Seems like the PSRS was the last link necessary to make the car stiff and fully compliant. I recommend it especially since you'll be putting coilover's on -- you'll save some $$ on the install. There is some road increase though and also dash rattle increase as well.
Xenonk
unfortunately, that mod isnt allowed for some of the race classes that some of us run in with coilovers.. but for those that can get more caster out of the car by either re-arranging the camber plates to do caster, or slide the subframe around to get a hair more caster, it will help the steering feedback. rexster
i'm guessing this is equivalent to whiteline Anti Lift Kit? Does it use spacers under the lower control arms like the whiteline version? How much road noise did it add?
Xenonk
I believe these actually replace the bushings in the control arms.. Keefe
