A blow off valve releases pressure from the turbo piping once the throttle is released. this air must be released so that the motor doesnt recieve to much pressure from the turbo. the released air is either sent out (atmospherically) into the engine bay, or recycled prior to the MAF ( mass air flow sensor) on your intake. your car is N/A meaning, no turbo, so no need for a BOV Need forum help?
