I have attached the job descriptions for the Complaints and Appeals Generalist and Specialist. The Individuals will be responsible for working with customers to resolve Complaints or Appeals regarding CHIP, TANF, Food Stamps, and Medicaid as an integral part of the Texas ACCESS Alliance (TAA). The individual will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing case material in the resolution of the Complaint or Appeal and entering the information. Candidates must have this specific subject matter expertise. I know this not be up everyone's alley, but I know when you're looking for a job, the more choices the better. Generalist Requirements: • Two years of college + 1 years in Texas Public Assistance Programs (TNAF, Food Stamps, Medicaid) or +2 years in Texas Public Assistance Programs. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong problem solving skills. • Strong computer skills. • Bilingual a plus Specialist Requirements: • Human Services, Welfare experience • Complaint resolution experience or training • Business Writing • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills • Teamwork/Collaboration • 1 - 3 years experience in human services or public services program areas • 1+ years experience in case analysis and case management • Bachelors Degree or 4+ years as an eligibility worker Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
