gibjer
Autospeed catback, it's just a little too loud for my liking. I just paid 899 bucks for this less then two weeks ago. It has less than 500 miles on it. What I'm looking for ..... Bosal catback (scans, wanns trade, I know you do ) Or Prodrive Mufflers + cash Or cash, 800 firm. As it sits, it's still on the car, and will stay that way untill a deal is done. - Jer Movie http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/fastwrx/aspleg.wmv And Pic of a full turboback (mine is just the cat back) http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I/fastwrx_1898_150761172 '20 Legacy XT Touring 13 Subarus and counting: http://jmaigroup.com/subarus/
dr. pepper
I have been strongly considering this exhaust for my LGT, i love the way the tips look, but now that you say it's too loud, I am having second thoughts, is it unbearably loud? what is it like inside when driving? is there a nice burble or is it an obnoxious drone that makes you have to turn the radio up? and where are you located exactly, town-wise? Ridgeracer
I really like this exhaust too. Too bad I already started puttng together my own custom job though. Good luck with the sale or trade. I'm in West Springfield, MA, work in Worcester. It's not like perrin loud. It's just louder then what I want. I must be getting old or something. On the highway it drones a little under load, but all in all not bad. gibjer
I have a cobb dp with the high flow cat. Which used to bolt to the factory catback, so if your perrin dp bolts to the stock, then yes '20 Legacy XT Touring 13 Subarus and counting: http://jmaigroup.com/subarus/
ScoobyLife
Will this setup mess with my STI springs/JDM swaybar? I read somewhere there is a few issues with fit.
gibjer
I don't know, it's really close to my setup, but with the sway bar reloactaion plates (raises it about .5 in up) I haven't had any issues with my whitelines (and sti pinks) '20 Legacy XT Touring 13 Subarus and counting: http://jmaigroup.com/subarus/
dr. pepper
what i really meant to ask was if this exhaust will retain my sleeper status around town, will the cops look up from their laptops when i drive by or will they not notice me? because so far I am loving the change in attention from the cops, I was harassed by so many cops in my Blue GTI, and I really don't want the fuzz remembering my car whenever they see it
sutter2k
interested in a perrin center/ y-pipe?
gibjer
Sorry, from what I am told it's still quieter then the perrin At this point I'm really looking for just the axleback and retain the stock resonator as it quiets things down nicely. The y-center/pipe of perrin with stock cans is quieter than the autospeed catback. Though if you want to go with just cans thats understandable.
