Has anybody pressure tested their intake yet?

I suspect problems, but really, there's no way to find out without being in the engine bay at ~20psi pressure. Would it be foolish to assume that the stock turbo inlet could survive 20psi? Seems like the easiest place to block off.

(edit - for the purpose of finding any leaks)

??? what do you mean? isn't that what the boost gauge is for?
I get some funny boost gauge readings.. maybe I'll try and make a vid. The lead me to suspect that something opens up after about 14psi. Could be the ebay boost gauge too.. you never know.

Its done all the time on the Z32. Not much pressure makes it past the throttle bodies to make intake/exhaust valves an issue... holds pressure long enough to hunt down boost leaks.

I don't know enough about our (LGT) intake track to know if there is anything that wouldn't take kindly to positive psi for testing purposes.

ignore him, he'll go away.
