PPower
Outback: GT or 2.5i non-USDM GT gauges The "GT" gauges as we have known it are much cheaper looking an not as "cool" as the electroluminescent version all other countries get in their GTs. Here's a picture of the interior as we know it showing the above gauges: And here is a picture that MSD took at a recent show. Notice the STi shift knob and the possibly completely black gauge cluster. So does it look like maybe SoA will actually give the true electroluminescent gauges for the GT and the cheaper gauges for the 2.5i? I sure wish they would have had the Legacy at the Chicago show to get that answered.
SUBE555
What I find interesting is I can see all the same features in the Leg photo as the non-USDM photo. The blue just isn't lit up, but you can see the characteristics. I don't think weve truly seen a fully functioning photo of the cockpit yet with all the gadgets and everything fully operational. I think it's a real possibility that we may actually see those gauges based on the photo shown. First impression was the lights were on in the other thread with all the OB pics, but now it just looks like parking lights or none at all and just with the key on. BTW, that 600rpm idle looks nice on that OB H6. ;)
Tide
They've updated need-desire.com's specs on what included. I will check the brochure, I know Ive seen it somewhere that the US was supposed to get electro-guages.
SUBE555
It's confirmed on Need-Desire! Go to: LEGACY -> STYLE -> DESIRE (hover mouse over the windshield) 'A completely new interior: Basking in world-class ergonomics and styling. An 8-way power-adjustable drivers seat, electro-luminescent gauges, automatic climate-control every aspect creates comfortable harmony between you and the vehicle. It is also shown in the NEED side under the performance bar. :) Fret not Preston.
PPower
It has said "electroluminescent gauges" from the beginning when they were showing the yucky gauges. Not that the gauges would be enough to not get the car, but the cool ones are a nice touch.
PPower
The Outback says that it gets "electroluminescent gauges" as well. Maybe it's all the same. I don't NEED it, but I was DESIRING the Defi/STi type gauges of the other countries. I'll steal Lafite's avatar for the example:
team23jordan
i think it'll be cool to see pink gauge like STi without STi logo but with like GT logo or B4 logo...
