Legasee
+1 for more detailed pics...I'm planning on going this route now instead of the single din that ends up sticking-up about 1/2 from the dash...yours looks good! In Taiwan now...
fweasel
Based on the pics they did a good job filling in the holes in the bezel for the buttons. Or did it not have button-holes? Factory NAV bezel has holes, the buttons are part of the touch screen assembly *IGNORE bad photoshop of kendwood NAV, this is before I actually installed mine* http://www.stimpco.com/carpix/navidea.jpg ignore him, he'll go away. fweasel
^you mean this is before you actually connect the wires to the stock audio system? No, that is a photoshopped image, used only to demonstrate what the factory NAV bezel looks like. The server my Kenwood install pics are on is down at the moment. ignore him, he'll go away. fweasel
Server's back online, here's my double din install: http://www.photodump.org/stored5/ken_nav1.JPG Not trying to hijack BigNYDog3's post, just offering more evidence that a double din screen is very possible in the dash location and in my opinion, looks much more stealth than the fold out single din installs. ignore him, he'll go away. Legasee
$187 shipped for Info Panel Relocation bracket??!!!...that little thing costs more than the double-din/air condition panel replacement from SOA?!!..http://www.avoturboworld.com/avoshop/images/300_info_panel001.jpg so about $300, then the price for a double-din plus price for install ...is $200 reasonable to get everything installed? (non-navi double-din)? In Taiwan now...
