subieblues Posted April 2, 2006 Share Posted April 2, 2006 I got new wheels today. Falken Ziex Ze 512 with Tarmac II's. I don't feel the bumps like I do with stockers and cornering is fun. My only concern was coming home tonight doing about 70, the steering wheel had a vibration. Brought it up to 80 and it felt fine brought it down to 60 and it felt fine. When i brought it back up to 70 i felt the vibration again. Does anybody think i need the wheels balanced again. They came mounted and balanced from the shop. Do you think they were mounted and balanced incorrectly or do you think my buddy didn't place them on correctly. ???? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

subieblues Posted April 4, 2006 Author Share Posted April 4, 2006 so i went to a shop and had the tires re-balanced. Mechanic said all the tires were out out balance especially the left front. what bothers me is that the tires were supposed to be mounted and balanced. guess they neglected the balancing part. i bought the tires off a website recommended by a few people on this forum so it was a bit of a disappointment with the service. vibration is gone, so that's all that matters now.
