Cliffs:

2005 Subaru Legacy GT

Silver Ext.

Black Leather Int.

11,700mi

5 speed manual

spoiler

compass/dimming mirror

$22,500

I didn't want to spend more than $20K but she drives like a dream. what should I do, is this a good deal?

I'm currently rolling in a 2003 Volvo S40 with 50,000mi

payments would go up about about $90/mo

I did, they wouldn't move and I walked out. It's hard to come by one of these bad boyz around WI and I think the dealer knows that.

Patience! Keep looking for another, and stay on top of this one. Otherwise you fall into their hand.

like how much more? what's realistic on one of those now? couldn't I just talk this one down? thanks in advance!

go to edmunds.com and look at invoice pricing, thats what they go for in my area...off the top of my head AFTER the rebate it was something like $25,900

imo thats not much more for evewrything you get with an 06....

i went to 2 dealers and they bit at ny invoice offer all day!

my dilema is my FICA score i cant get the intirest rate i wanted so im saving a little up to put down....

what more do you get with an 06 v. an 05? I didnt think there was much difference? (at least not $3K worth of a difference)

I'd think they should be able to do better than 22,500, although since they're apparently a Subie dealer they may not want to haggle as much. I bought my used Subaru at a Ford dealer, which I think helped me get a good deal. It's not like at 22,500 you're getting screwed, but I definitely wouldn't say it's a good deal.

With an 06 you're getting a model year and zero miles. That's worth something. A rough estimate according to Edmunds is about 2000-2500 dollars, but thats comparing an 04 to an 03.

There isn't a rebate, in my region at least, maybe elsewhere there is. Which means invoice on a GT Limited without any options is 27,407. I paid 19,900 for my 05 GT Limited with 18k miles, spoiler, subwoofer, auto dim/compass mirror, momo shift knob, armrest extender, and hood protector.
