pillboy
21.53 mpg now this not the computer calculation .. if I go by the computer, I have been avg'ing 22.04 Which leads me to ask what everyone else is doing...taking the mpg figure the car gives you, or breaking out the slide rule and figuring it out? I just don't trust the accuracy of the car's computer. It is still ugly.
DukeTrout
I calculate it manually, but my computer has been within .3 to .5 of reality for the full 13k miles. Ich bin echt viel netter, wenn ich nuechtern bin. Echt!
deneb
Mine's consistently 1 - 1.5 mpg high for mixed driving, so I do all my own calculations. For a longer hwy only trip, the av. mpg is actually pretty accurate.
jond_68
Allentown, PA 21.5 2.75 93 I started out trying to manually compute mileage against the computer but the initial 2 times I did, it was accurate to about .3 to .5 per gallon, so laziness kicked in, and I trust the computer.
