AWD_Rules3830
Has anyone ever noticed that our GT's push out hot car within like 30 seconds of a cold start?? I LOVE IT on a cold nebraska morning but how does it do this? I love my car ... basically.

mwiener2
Because of the H design there is more surface area so it heats up faster...also stays cooler under load too. My Mods List (Updated 8/22/17) 2005 Outback FMT Running on Electrons

MassiveAttack
I absolutely love the fact that my LGT is blowing warm air before I even hit the highway in the morning. Every other car needed at least triple the time before they even hinted at warm air.
laz
Yeah that is a nice feature, what I hate is when it blows hot air when it is set for cold! X ---

RuskiTrombone
set it to 65 and it will blow cold. if you have it set on 66 it will blow a bit of warm air.
laz
^^^ Yeah I just figured that one out this weekend. I was hot and it was set to 66. I could not figure out why it wa still blowing warm air out. Brought it down to 65 and nice cold air came out. What a silly design! X ---

Mblock66
Mine doesn't throw heat in 30 seconds.......it takes me a good 2 miles before I get the needle to move and start giving me anything. Not that I am complaining, but on a cold winter start it still takes a while I think. Now my GF's VW cabrio.....that thing is throwing warm air as soon as you turn the key. It is amazing
