croll326
Need a new rear window. $330 from the dealer. They are trying to deny my replacement but I have a call in with SOA and I think they will make the dealer replace the window.

Mindspin311
Experienced this issue this morning. Had a lot of frost on the rear glass, it is tinted as well. I also experience this sometimes when I plug my cellphone in on the cigarette charger.
F-WDC Spec B
I have it too. I thought i crossed some wires when i installed my amp. good to know im not alone. Im going to try to isolate the ant wire and shield it from the rear defogger wire. to bad they are both on the rear glass thou.
FlatChris
I've read there is a TSB that covers this - one possibility is that there is one or more small breaks in the wires of the defroster grid. These breaks are areas of high electrical resistance which in turns generates an electrical field that is being picked up by the antenna. It can be fixed with a new window or by finding and repairing the breaks in the grid. The bulletin describes using a small hand held radio with an antenna - with the rear defrost on, pass the antenna slowly around the grid until the station is scrambled, then look closely at that spot for a cut or nick in the grid. Use a defrost wire repair kit to fix.
