i always like to make a rediculous offer, then have them call you back..i would go in offering something like 21k. see if they bite. i have not had much luck finding a new 2005 LGT LTD leftover, and i am not going brand new either. good luck!

melayout, you play Burning Monkey? Awesome game.

timpappas, if you offer $21k, they may just do it. But you'll get out the door for considerably more. I was thinking like you are until the dealer offered me an '06 for under $26k exactly how I wanted it. Then, you know how the car was broken in, have full warranty, etc. If you can swing that extra bit/month, I'd suggest going that route.

when the spec.B came out, i was interested in trading in my 05 5MT LGT Non-Limited.. it had 6,000 miles on it at the time.. my salesman said my car with 10,000 miles on it, looking "showroom" condition.. it was worth 18K.. so i was pretty pissed when i heard that..

Cobra, what i did was i went to subaru.com and check all the dealers in a 100 mile radius, if you check thier inventories you can see who has any 05 leftovers, I found the listing to be very accurate, call them up and see what they are willing to sell the car for(they will probably go lower than that is you go down to the dealer) I'm picking up mine on wed., brand new 40 miles, wagon LGT, non leather for $22900
