DrLomaX
Does anyone know if the 06 WRX Red Big Enough Brake Kits are swappable on a 05 LGT? I have a garnet red with black superleggeras and it is going to look sick on my car with the color combo.
jsalicru
they might look pretty, but the rotors are smaller. Its not an upgrade, its a downgrade. More pistons does not equal better brakes. Xenonk
piston sizes on the 06 WRX to a 05 GT are different, the GT are bigger. And why go with a smaller rotor? Get a set of Stoptech, Endless/Alcon, Brembo Rotora or even Racing Brake calipers as they all offer a Red caliper set up. Keefe
axis008
Sorry to hijack, but I have a similar, but opposite question. Can LGT brakes fit on '04 WRXs? My buddy needs new brakes... -ben

Yes, you need: Brake calipers Brake brackets Brake rotors Brake pads Brake lines (should be optional, but get them anyways) Keefe

Xenonk
NASIOC has the complete breakdown of the listing of what you can fit on the Impreza (and vice versa, but why would anyone want to put on Impreza smaller brakes on the GT would baffle me other than for winter/rally use). froggert
possibly to turn it into a lowrider and fit 15" wire wheels?
PGT
the new WRX comes with 17's, so not sure it's even about using smaller wheels.
Xenonk
the new WRX comes with 17's, so not sure it's even about using smaller wheels. it was a bling issue to have the red subaru calipers behind the 17" rims.. the rotors are not as big either.. but it's just not enough room to fit a 16" rim over the calipers. Waxiboy
Digging up an oldie... 1. Will the 2-pot rears fit since both the 06 TR & LGT have the same size rear rotors? 2. Does anyone know piston size differences between the two?
