ashdoggy
I traded in my sti and swore my next car was going to be a chill car only. So I test drove the lgt and loved it. Even got an automatic to ensure that I wouldn't want to race it. Well, its been 2 months and the race itch has turned into a monster scratch. Now I'm so confused about what to do. Please help me!!!

Skillz
You are thinking too much. Just do it. Use "manual mode" and shift it yourself. Much more fun that way!!

05BluePearlGT
I love going quick in my auto. At first I was worried about doing that to an auto tranny. But they hold up quite well. Plus they are warrantied. SO if youre stock, nothing to worry about. If it goes on you, they will put a new one in under your warranty. (Subaru doesnt rebuild trannies, only new ones go in)

kster
Exactly, get a track car. This way, you can work on the car on a long project, or even bang it up, and you still have your comfortable daily driver to get around. I ended up going with a Miata as the track toy. Also, unless you can afford to walk away from the car, don't bring it to the track.

Please help me!!! I'm sort of in the same boat. I intended on getting a second car for race purposes, but currently logistics and finances aren't going to make that easy. As a result, I've been autocrossing my Cobb Stage 1 5EAT wagon on RE92s. I'm probably going to upgrade the rubber once summer rolls around; I blame the RE92s for me getting beaten by a Camry. EL PAALO
new tires are an entirely different ballgame. bald, overheated, hard as rocks re070's were 100x better than the re92's.
