SLegacy99
So apparently the previous owner replaced the spark plugs with cheap Bosch ones that werent platinum and caused cylinder misfire. Intriuging.

ebpda9
usually bosch sucks in japanese engines. i had them in my accord and integra, and changed within 2 days. you can't go wrong with denso or ngks for anything japanese
soobynooby
too true. Hard to go wrong with NGK's in anything Japanese. My Honda loved em. Put Champion Platinums in my outback, cause they were out of the NGKs. Havent tried the NGK's yet, but I'm not thrilled ith the Champions in this motor. SLegacy99
Yeah my mechanic said to use only NGks in this engine. The performance difference is considerable. I thought I had good pick up before but now I can really accelerate.

ebpda9
your owner manual should say that, or you could find it on a sticker on the underside of the hood.
