jj808
Are there ANY tuners in SD w/ an AWD dyno? I know Crawford isnt far away (Oceanside) and there are tons in LA but there has to be at least ONE here in SD. Anyone?

BOXRPWR
my advice is call Ian at Harman Motive and chat about what you want. Do you already own an AccessPort? Looking for a AP ProTune? Need some parts installed? etc., etc. Driving up to Torrance isn't a crazy idea. Heck, I drive there from Temecula quite frequently. Don't base such an important decision on saving a few driving miles.
jsalicru
I agree with BOXRPWR here. There are plenty of people from your area that go up there. My friend from San Diego has his STi currently at Harman Motive.. Its the place he goes. I highly recommend you make the trip. "some say, his arms are made of coiled adamantium fibers. And that he tops his cereal with nuts and bolts. All we know is, he's called the Jose."
jj808
Thats the thing. I will probably want parts installed but the LGT is my ONLY car. There is no way i could leave my car with someone for anything more that an hour or 2. Especially if it is 2hrs+ away from where i work/live. Rental car? Only if its free... Boostjunkie
From my understanding, Harman Motive no longer does install work other than complete turn-key build-ups. If you need parts installed, I believe they have a link to some install shops that will do that part of the job, then you go over to them for the tuning. IIRC several of the install shops are in south Orange County, which is around an hour from you. I know you are from Hawaii so the driving distances and times seem far, but get used to it Everything is pretty spread out here, and sometimes you have to drive a little to get what you want. Considering that tuning is not something to be taken lightly, I much rather drive a little farther to get to a good tuner initially and avoid problems down the road. If all you are wanting is some part installs... PM me if you'd like. Im not too far in Temecula. For tuning, however, I recommend HM. "some say, his arms are made of coiled adamantium fibers. jj808
jsalicru: I thank you for your offer of assistance w/ installs but if i drive that far up i might as well keep on going the short(comparatively speaking) distance to LA and talk to HM.
