with that shape like "sonic the hedgehog doing his crazy spin" or one of those disc saws... would that mean the rims would look differently on either side of the car? one "sonic" spinning forwards and on the otherside "sonic" spinning backwards??

edit: not sure if that made any sense.......

Interesting question. I would think you'd need right wheels and left wheels.

I'm not a big fan of them personally.

The Subaru SVX had wheels with spokes slanted forward, and had different wheels for left and right (so they point toward the front of the car from either side).

They look okay but I wouldn't want to have to find a specific "side" if I screwed one up somehow. And I'm not a fan of the "multi-fit" 5-100/5-114 wheel lug hole configuration. Just make it one or the other, not both.

Nah. You can do better.

I had directional OE wheels on my probe gt. Straight spokes, but the spokes were canted like a wing edge or something.

The last time I put tires on it, the morons put directional tires on the wheels in the wrong order, so I had the tires all facing the front, but the wheels on one side of the car didn't match. A left on the right side, and a right on the left side, and to switch the wheels back would have turned the tires backwards.

I was less than pleased, and had it changed.

correct, they only make those wheels in "one direction".. even the Porsche turbo wheels come in one direction the last time I checked..

Mr Luv, you sure love those "turbine" rims.. how about looking for something less directional? the only wheel that is going to make you go faster are lighter ones, not the ones that "spin"
