PeterJMC
The weather for this winter has been upsetting me lately . We've had a handful of dinky snow days. A good amount of rain, and a lot of unusual warm (mid fortys - mid fifties) days. My first winter with the Leggy and I was hoping it would see more snow than this by now. I'm praying that we will have a couple of really good snow days, but I'm feeling as though that is very doubtful. Doesn't someone know how to do a snow dance? PhilT
Come here for a day and you'll soon change your mind. I drove to Montreal for work yesterday, woke up this morning at the hotel to find the car covered in 5mm of solid ice. Freezing rain during the night made the car into an ice cube, not nice having to break the doors open. Then the roads are treacherous until they get enough salt down to melt it all. I hate winter !! RuskiTrombone
Highly doubt it, every time I purchase an awd or 4wd car it does not snow. If I sold the LGT and purchased a vette or something it would be snowing every single day.

wukindada
Yea...it does suck:( I wanted to take my daughter up to play in the snow the 2nd week of Feb.. Cancelled the trip...due to the lack of it. Nothing better than being on the slopes one week & then back to Florida enjoying the moderate temps. I actually had to put a sweater on last night when I skimmed the pool **still had shorts on** (59* low) Toyota 6EATS .........SUCK!!!!!!

PeterJMC
... its just not the same without snow in Feb. I blame the lack of snow this year to global warming. Population and civilization (buildings/asphalt/etc.) have a greater effect on the global temperature than the original "global warming" problems I was thinking that it's been all that crop dusting that I've been doing around the office lately. Not sure what has changed in my diet, but these gasses that I'm releasing into the atmosphere are really harsh... to the nose . Anyone remember that episode of South Park of spontaneous combustion? The GF really loooves the dutch oven when she spends the night . by the way, taped up the tailgate again on sunday, sanded and repainted the lip. looks good! little sanding pad I got worked great. it's got one spot where there's a little drip, but you have to get up close to see it. 258k miles - Stock engine/minor suspension upgrades/original shocks/rear struts replaced at 222k/4 passenger side wheel bearings/3 clutches/1 radiator/3 turbos
PeterJMC
Awesome! I really think that it cracked because we didn't let the pain cure. When I was sanding it did feel a little tacky. Now we know for next time!
