dannman
Can 215/55/16s fit on a stock rim of an 03 Legacy GT wagon? The stock tire is a 205/55/16. Not looking to go up in rim size just give the car a little more rubber for improved performance.
PhilT
It shouldn't be a problem, your overall wheel diameter will increase by approximate 1/2", and your speedo will be out by 1.7%. Double Award Winning Legacy GT Wagon
BrownBoy
Unless you really want that much sidewall, I'd recommend going to a lower profile w/ the wider tires...The higher profile will result in sloppier handling. I have those size tires on my car (the 205s) They squeal at every mildly fast turn...That huge sidewall doesn't help any...so get rid of it. Xenonk
it's fine, 6.5" wide is the stock width of the rim, 215 is the limit on the tire width you should go. Keefe
