jlce88
Anyone else get one over email today? One of the questions had LegacyGT.com as one possible answer. I think it was the question about doing research on the Legacy GT that you (I) purchased. Kinda neat that they know about this site I think, or maybe big brother is watching and finding out our real names and linking them with purchased cars so they can flag us as bad people for modding our cars. The last was said for the paranoid people on here! Dang that was a LONG survey and got really strange near the end. I felt I was being analyzed with the types of questions. What non-automotive brand do you associate yourself with and why? That was one question that sticks out in my mind. (A) Uhhh, Preparation H...because I'm usually a pain in the a$$. I didn't answer like that but the temptation was there
finse
Strange indeed. I have yet to meet anyone that associates themselves with a particular brand name... I figure the marketing department is trying to determine where to run there next batch of commercials... My vote; Family Guy.
Ratman009
Definitely marketing driven. To be very honest though, the survery should have allowed you to choose more than one feature you feel that your '06 Legacy was missing. Personally, I wanted to check off: fold down rear seats steering wheel mounted audio controls seating/mirror memory better fuel economy But I could only check one. The didn't even give you a free text area at the end to write your own comments about owning the car. Bit of a shame if you ask me. I think I might write a letter to SOA after taking this survey. I did love one of the questions though concerning how your Subaru dealership met you expectations. I was expecting a somewhat crappy dealership experience (after all, I was cross shopping BMW 330i, Lexus IS350, and Infiniti G35) compared to the other cars I was considering, so the answer choice of "dealership not up to snuff with the quality brand image Subaru is trying to present" or something like that. The statement really hit the nail on the head. But I guess crappy looking/run down dealerships help keep overhead low, which in turn keeps the cost of the cars lower. Yeah, it was aggravating to only be able to choose one "missing" item. I wonder if they knew what was coming maybe? Darn near all of them checked????
