Waxiboy Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 My cousin is picking up one of your leftover 05 GT limited sedan...can't beat the price at $23,500.
BOXRPWR Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Another dealership has already posted on this board that he would take just under $32K for a Spec.B. Let the price dropping continue!
BrownBoy Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 I guess there goes our chances of an STi version...
Subaru_Frank Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Waxiboy when is he picking up the car? It is the Regal Blue with the taupe int?
Waxiboy Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Waxiboy when is he picking up the car? It is the Regal Blue with the taupe int? Today (I think). Yes.
1max2nv Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 :sigh: I just bought a used 05 Limited for couple grands less. I should've just bought a new one.
lag Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 I wouldn't be suprised if you dealed enough to get a Spec-B for $30k or less. The problem I see with moving those is that the average preson doesn't care enough to spend the extra scratch on a suspension and interior package but with no extra HP. Slap on an extra 50hp and and I would have had a harder time deciding myself and most likly would have got that instead of the GTL.
hovied Posted January 16, 2006 Author Posted January 16, 2006 I agree, had Subaru added even 30hp more people would be interested. I bought myself one and love it, but I got an exceptional deal and I had 20k for the sale of my WRX. ______________ tHe HoV

On ours, net cost after holdback is about $31,400. A dealership will not lose that type of money on something like that. That is like losing money to sell a new STI. just not going to happen unless it is a demo, had some lot damage, etc. i think ours is sold --trading for his 2004 STI with less than 10k on it. will know for sure here soon.
GraysonSubaru Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 you also have to look at an LGT with no navi can sticker between $29500 adn $31000. If you can buy a SPEC B at invoice ($32700) with navi, that makes up near the difference. if you buy it at net cost, $31,400 or so...an LGT with navi will be that much..or very close and not have the suspension, wheels, or paint.

jcole05 Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 Bought a legacy GT myself at Beyer Subaru last weekend. Anyone in the market should check them out - great prices and great guys. Best of all, they gave me their word on a price and the condition of a car I wanted, and I flew in from Atlanta, bought the car and drove away. The car and the price were exactly as advertised. By far and away my best experience ever at a car dealership. My wife wants an outback (next year...gotta pay this one off 1st), and I'd definitely pay for another flight to buy from those guys. Besides, now the car is almost broken in after the drive home and I'm ready for an AP.
mtorsani Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 I really need to do some searching for an 05 LGT....want to trade in the wifes mazda6.
jcole05 Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 Yeah, some '05s are still available. One requirement for me was a MT, but even then I was able to find 4-5 within the southeast. If you can live with an automatic, you'll have better luck I think. After searching around a lot, I definitely would look for 5-6000 off of MSRP.
mtorsani Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 I would prefer the auto so the wife could drive it too. I did see some but they still wanted like $25k for them. That just seems way to high to me. There is a white LGT non limited and I want to tell them $24k out the door on it.
