itsme
I installed jazzy's adapter on saturday. I was pretty easy just take your time. It works great, don't forget to pick up your ground loop filter from radio shack($16) to make sure you dont get any engine noise. PGT
Buy the Belkin. The mini plug goes in right by the power adaptor, so you don't have two cables running tp your iPod: http://images.belkin.com/F8V7058-APL/FUL1_F8V7058-APL.jpg

emosound
i ordered the powered ipod plug/rca adapter. is an isolator still needed with this? I haven't installed this yet, but I have the same adapter from autosound2000. I plan on grounding it to same point as the radio, that *should * negate the need for an isolator. I'll let you guys know. -Paul
emosound
I haven't installed this yet, but I have the same adapter from autosound2000. I plan on grounding it to same point as the radio, that *should * negate the need for an isolator. I'll let you guys know. OK, then, yep, it's noisy. Lots of electrical noise. I took power from the cigar lighter under the radio, and grounded it to the radio itself. With the car off, there is just a slight high-pitched whine when the radio is turned way up. With the car on, there is all kinds of whines and stuff. SHould I grab power from the radio harness? Or just stick a GLI on there and hope for the best? -Paul
