STiSubie109
Anyone else have this problem? The fuel door does not close all the way and is not flush with the body. I tried to adjust the plastic line attached to the gas cap thinking it was it with no luck, not quite sure what else i can do? Suggestions please!! Thanks in advance
dougc
I didn't have a problem w/ it closing. My problem is that it would not open when I pulled the latch. This happened on two different occasions. I would have to slide my car key in the gap of the fuel door, applying some pressure, then I would pull the latch, the car keys would fall to the ground and the door would pull open. This was a royal pain in the ass. The dealer had to replace the spring both times. Take it to the dealer, they will fix it under warranty.
agctr
Have a talk to yr SA @ the dealership and ask them to assist under warranty. Let us know how you go. Ada///M.

If they are replacing your fuel door spring...they are not fixing the problem... Look here: http://www.thel7.com/TSB/09-40-04.pdf

Rollin Wes
Had the same problem where my fuel door would not open. The dealer installed the clip and it works fine now. About three months now with no problems.
Chappy
My WRX would get stuck closed all the time. I used to pry it open with a credit card.
